Parents and guardians are being reminded that applications for East Ayrshire's early learning and childcare centres will open up this week.
Those applying should make their first choice of centre clear, as well as including their second choice of centre and preferred pattern of attendance on the application form.
East Ayrshire Council officials say there may be occasions when you cannot access a place in your first choice of centre.
It's added that applications which do not indicate a second choice may not be considered.

The online application will be available from Monday, February 26 until midnight on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
Applications received after March 10 will be allocated in a second phase before or at the start of the new term in August 2024.
To complete the online application you will require to upload a copy of your child's full birth certificate and two proofs of your residency.
