Plans have been lodged to transform a vacant Cumnock building into an office complex.
The property on Hospital Road, Holmhead was most recently used as a private dwelling house, but had been listed for sale on the market.
The applicant, David Weir, is aiming to transform the former one-bedroom home into an office space with three office rooms and a reception area.
There would also be a kitchen and store room added to the plans.
Four extra parking spaces would be added to the property's land, taking the total spaces to six.
Plans were submitted to East Ayrshire Council in November and validate last week.

No objections have been brought forward, with the Ayrshire Roads Alliance, who carry out work on behalf of East Ayrshire Council, saying they have no issues with the plans.
An initial determination deadline has been set for Wednesday, February 7.
