Plans for two new 'shepherd huts' to be built near Auchinleck have been approved by councillors.
Lighthouse Architecture lodged the plans on behalf of Hillend Camping owners Lauren Houfe and Aaron Hay.
Hillend Camping is a non-electric, pop-up campsite just outside Auchinleck.

The site currently has for camping pitches to go along with its hot water and washing up facilities.They also offer spaces for non-electric motorhomes and grass campervan pitches.

They'll include a double bed, a sitting area and a small kitchen area.
According to a planning application submitted to East Ayrshire Council, the huts will each have a footprint of 12 square metres, and residents will be provided with internal bins, which will be collected after their stay and stored in main bins on site.
