Temporary traffic lights are set to remain in place along a stretch of the A70 in Ochiltree for another week.
A portable traffic lights system is in operation on the Burnock Bridge as drivers enter Ochiltree from the Cumnock side.
It follows four full weekends of closures along the bridge to allow for maintenance work to be carried out.

According to the Ayrshire Roads Alliance website, the latest work which is parapet and masonry repairs, will last until Friday, November 3.
Having started on Friday, October 20, the works will remain on the road for 24 hours a day.
