A New Cumnock music group is gearing up for a wonderful weekend of anniversary celebrations.
The Sweet Afton Water Acoustic Music (SAWA) will hold its eighth anniversary celebrations at the New Cumnock Town Hall this Sunday, August 27, from 2pm-5pm.
As part of the celebrations, the group is delighted to have special guest Bruce Watson performing on the day.

Bruce will be putting on a show in New Cumnock as he begins his own UK tour with the weekend performance.
Over the years, SAWA Music has had artists play for them in venues such as Campbell Hall, Working Mens Club, Bowling Club, The Hunter Suite and Glens Bar.

This weekend's event is totally free, with the aim of getting locals along to enjoy a sing, as well as playing and reciting their favourite songs.
