GLENAFTON Athletic boss Hugh Kerr described his side's 1-1 draw away to Cumbernauld United as a "point gained".
The New Cumnock side came from behind on Saturday to extend their current unbeaten run to four matches.
The Loch Park men had fallen behind early in the second half before a superb Craig Truesdale strike restored parity.
The result saw Kerr's side slip out of top spot in the WoSFL Premier Division but it is not a situation the manager said there is any panic over.
"Teams will struggle going away to Cumbernauld," he said. "We had ample chances to win the game, but it just wasn't our day.
"I spoke to the boys after the game; it's about having that understanding that we aren't going to get it all our own way. We're going to have to graft to try to get wins.
"But I'll take it as a point gained, other teams will go there and struggle and they'll take points off teams round about us."
Kerr has also urged his players not to dwell on the result.

He added: "The way the game panned out, we scored in the last 10 minutes, we hit the crossbar and we missed a chance relatively late on in the game.
"There were chances there and I think their goalkeeper had a great game as well.
"We can't dwell on it too much, we'll just come in, take the point and look at next week now."
Kerr also urged his side to build on their current unbeaten run as they prepare for another away league test against Shotts Bon Accord on Saturday, October 24.
He continued: "We've got our own targets, in-house, on what we are looking to do and we're not a million miles away from that.
"It's two league games then it's two cup games on the trot. We're trying to keep the ball rolling as much as possible in the league, the cup games will take care of themselves.
"It's all about just trying to keep that momentum going."
