CELTIC have been linked with a move for Bristol City defender Niclas Eliasson as Neil Lennon steps up his bid to bring in a new left-back before the transfer window closes next month.
The Parkhead boss has been up front in his desire to add another left-sided defender, having seen two bids for Charlton's Alfie Doughty rejected by the League One club.
The Scottish champions are also said to be mulling over a bid for Danish defender Casper Hojer, currently on the books at Aarhus in his homeland, and now a third possible target has come to light.
Eliasson has one year left to run on his current deal with the Ashton Gate club, with the Scottish Sun reporting that Celtic have been monitoring the Swede since the start of the year.
The 24-year-old has fallen out of favour at Bristol City and could be available for a cut-price fee, with Celtic's head of recruitment Gary Penrice reportedly in attendance to run the rule over the full-back during City's 3-0 home defeat to Aston Villa in the League Cup last week.
The Sun say that Lennon is "plotting a move" for Eliasson and will make a bid if Charlton will not sell Doughty.
