Ayr United to start new season against Queen of the South
AYR UNITED will start the new season with a home match against Queen of the South.
Football will return to Somerset Park after months of lockdown on Saturday, October 17.
Their first away game will see Ayr travel to the Highlands to face Inverness Caledonian Thistle the following week (October 24).
The Honest Men finished last season in fourth before coronavirus brought a halt to their promotion bid.
Mark Kerr’s squad are preparing ahead of the autumn return.
Another fixture that stand's out is the the first trip to Edinburgh to face relegated Premiership side Hearts.
Ayr will head to Tynecastle on Boxing Day for the clash.
