CELTIC have made an offer for Wolfsberger striker Shon Weissman, according to the Austrian Bundesliga side's president.
The 24-year-old enjoyed a stunning season last term, scoring 37 goals in 40 games, and as a result he is now wanted by a number of clubs across Europe.
Wolfsberger chief Dietmar Riegler is keen to keep his star man for as long as possible, but in an interview with local media he confirmed that Neil Lennon's Celtic had made an offer for Weissman's services.
Speaking to Kleine Zeitung, he said: "As you already know, he wants to go to Germany or England.
"But we've not yet had any inquiries from there.
"Offers have come, amongst others, from Russia and Scotland, from Glasgow Celtic.
"Because of the Corona crisis, everything is different this year. The seasons in Germany have now ended.
"The clubs know where they will play in the coming season. I think the next few days will be interesting for Shon."
