A HIGHLY impressive start to the Premiership campaign was made by Cumnock FC.
They defeated newcomers Rossvale 3-1, who were promoted from the Championship last season.
One of the goalscorers, Craig McLeish, was winner of the RAD Hotel Group Man of the Match accolade.
His award was presented by Billy Lammie who was a part of the group who made the selection while taking hospitality at the game.
Craig rounded off an immense performance in midfield with one of Cumnock’s three goals and fully deserved his award, said the organisers.
Player/boss Paul Burns has revamped the squad with a whole host of new signings and the games are coming thick and fast in the early stages of the season.
Next up for ‘Nock is a Premier Division game against Troon at Portland Park tonight (Wednesday).
Saturday sees them
host a Kilbirnie Ladeside team who lost 3-2 at Rutherglen in their opening match.
