CRAIGMARK BURNTONIANS lept to the top of the Ayrshire District with a 1-0 home win over LUGAR BOSWELL THISTLE.
Murray Johnston scored the only goal of the game at Station Park to put Mark into pole position going into their final two games.
One more point would guarantee them promotion to the new Championship but they will need to hope Dalry Thistle drop points in their final five games if Mark are to claim the title.
Elsewhere, AUCHINLECK TALBOT put in a five star performance as they thumped minnows Girvan at Hamilton Park.
Graham Wilson's first half double was added to by Steven White and Jamie Glasgow as Talbot went in 4-1 to the good at half time. Gordon Pope rounded of the scoring in the second half.
With Beith beating Arthurlie 8-1 and Kilwinning Rangers' match at Kirkintilloch Rob Roy abandoned, it's pretty much as you were at the top of the Super League Premier Division.
Talbot moved up to third - above Pollok on goal difference - five points adrift of leaders Beith and now just one behind the Buffs with games in hand on both.
In the Ayrshire District League, MUIRKIRK'S hopes of finishing in seventh place were ended in emphatic fashion by Dalry.
The match was moved to Kilwinning Sports Club as the sodden turf at Merksworth continues to cause Dalry problems.
The title chasers ran out 6-0 winners meaning Kirk will be playing in League Two next season.
KELLO ROVERS lost 3-1 to Darvel in the Super League First Division and, on Monday night, Muirkirk thumped Ardeer Thistle 4-0 while Craigmark's home tie with Whitletts Victoria was postponed.
