LUGAR boss Carlo Walker admitted he felt 'let down’ by his players for the first time last Saturday.
The Ayrshire District side crashed to a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Darvel as they slipped to a second straight loss.
And Walker admitted it was the manner of the performance which had ruined his weekend.
He said: “The players let me down. And that’s probably the first time that I’ve said that.
“It’s no lack of effort but there was just something missing. We had a penalty at 2-0 down which we missed and that just knocked the stuffing out of us.
“In attack we don’t look dangerous and it was the same as Annbank the week before. We just have to move on and work hard to ensure things improve.” They have the perfect chance when they face Whitletts today in a crunch promotion clash.
Walker added: “It’s a game we will be desperate to win. The boys will be desperate to put a few things right.”
