MUIRKIRK face a tough tie against Dunbar United in the first round of the Scottish Cup.

The District League will have to travel to the east coaster South Division side as they bid to reach the second round of the juniors showpiece event.

Kello Rovers received a closer to home tie against fellow ADL side Annbank, while Glenafton face Inverness City at Loch Park.

All the first round games will take place on September 28.

The first round reduces the number of teams in the competition from 164 to 128 for the second round.

Teams due to play in the senior Scottish Cup, including Auchinleck Talbot, receive an automatic bye, while Cumnock, Lugar and Craigmark all avoided being drawn in the preliminary round.
