THE Saturday line-up to this May's BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee has been announced with big names set to perform live.

The event is taking place in the Scottish city of Dundee after it was confirmed as the host earlier in the year.

Artists like The 1975, The Snuts, from West Lothian, and the Jonas Brothers are all expected to perform at the festival, ensuring an entertaining weekend for revellers.

Of the upcoming music event, the Jonas Brothers said: “We can’t wait to perform in Scotland for Radio 1's Big Weekend 2023! We’re excited to play your favourite songs as well as some new music. There are going to be some great artists there. It’s going to be epic!”

When is BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee 2023 taking place?

The flagship event will take place between Friday, May 26, and Sunday, May 28 with some 80,000 music fans expected to attend the three-day music festival.

How to get tickets to BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee

Tickets will be available from Friday, March 24 at 8:30 am from Ticketmaster but demand is expected to outstrip supply, meaning you will have to be quick.

According to the BBC, tickets are geographically weighted so that there is an element of preference given to local residents.

50% of the tickets will be reserved for those living in and around Dundee, 40% for those in the rest of Scotland, and only 10% for the rest of the UK.
