MORRISONS has announced it is launching a monster breakfast sandwich.
The builders big breakfast roll weighs in at a hefty three quarters of a kilo and is a full four inches deep. It also contains an eye-watering 1,740 calories.
The beast is packed with traditional cooked breakfast staples, including:
- Two rashers of back bacon
- Two hash browns
- Two pork sausages
- Baked beans
- Mushrooms
- Fried egg
- Grilled tomato
The supermarket’s new breakfast behemoth packs 10 hearty breakfast items overall into a massive seven-inch bap.
Danny Clee, cafés manager at Morrisons, warned that the roll is “not for the faint-hearted.”
He added: “Customers were telling us they didn’t always have the time to have breakfast in the café, so we set about creating an on-the-go version. It’s the biggest butty we’ve ever made.”
