Stunning images showing old Auchinleck and Cumnock have been shared on Facebook.
All the images, taken by Jim Smith who sadly died in 1994, show everything from Auchinleck before it had Tesco, to Cumnock's outdoor swimming pool still in place.
Cumnock History Group shared Jim's images, much to the delight of those online.
Locals have loved flicking through the images on social media, and reminiscing about a time when they remember the area like this.
This stunning shot shows Auchinleck Main Street in a way a lot people won't remember.
Do you remember when Tesco did not take up the huge plot of land that it stands on today?
The next image shows when Ballochmyle hopsital was still in use.
It closed in 2000 and made way for luxury homes in its place.
This image overlooking Townhead Street shows a time before Menzies Court was in place.
The picture is believed to be from around the 80s.
From the late 70s/ early 80s, Jim's next photo shows when the dog track could still clearly be seen at the bottom right of the picture next to the Merlin Park.
Did you ever go there?
A great image of the Barony colliery which closed in 1989.
Can you remember The Holm in Cumnock looking like this?
On the corner of Glaisnock Street and Townhead Street stood what was locally named McCubbins corner.
What can you remember from this?
Last, but by no means least, in our trip down memory lane thanks to Jim Smith, comes Cumnock's outdoor swimming pool.
Many people will remember spending a huge chunk of their time here.
Which of these images brings back the most memories for you?
