A NUMBER of upgrades will be carried out at Ochiltree Primary School over the next five years, which could see pupils temporarily relocated.
Standard investigations of the school found some areas which require non-urgent attention.
The project, which is set to cost in the region of £1.5 million, would include work to the roofing and windows.
But the roof work may require pupils to be temporarily relocated during this time.
A council report on the works stated: "A range of priority works have been identified at Ochiltree Primary School over the next five years, including roofing repairs and the replacement of high-level windows.
"However, due to the nature of the roof's construction, the work would require the school to be temporarily decanted.
"Building services upgrades have also been identified as a priority and could be carried out while the school is vacated.
"A new budget allocation of £1.5 million has therefore been included for the project."
No timeline has been set for when this work could be carried out.
