FAMILIES can book places on the Sleigh Bell Special as the popular event returns to the Doon Valley Railway.

Passengers will travel through the heritage site on a vintage train during a Christmas-themed journey.

Santa will join the train after his sleigh bells are heard, meeting each child on board.

Tickets can be bought ONLINE

Children aged 15 and under will receive a gift from Santa. After the journey, visitors can go to the Signal Box Café, known as Mrs Claus’ Kitchen, for seasonal refreshments.

Services will run on November 28 and 29, as well as December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20.

Departures are scheduled for 10.15am, 11.15am, 12.45pm, 1.45pm and 2.45pm.

Tickets cost £25 for adults and children aged three to 15. Infants and toddlers under three cost £10 and must travel on an adult’s lap.

There will be no walk-in tickets, carer or group discounts. ARPG members’ free travel does not apply to this event.
