SOMETHING new is coming to East Ayrshire this autumn.
The first-ever East Ayrshire Whisky Festival will take place in Kilmarnock on Saturday, October 17, from 1.30pm to 5pm at The Park Hotel.
Organised by the East Ayrshire Whisky Society, the event will honour the memory of their friend, Russell Wilson.
Half the proceeds will be donated to Ayrshire Cancer Support.

A limited-entry Lochlea Distillery masterclass will also be held, offering a tasting of five unreleased cask samples.
General admission tickets are priced at £45 and include whisky samples, a Glencairn glass, lanyard, event programme, bottled water, and a pie.
Masterclass tickets are £35, with only 40 available.
Robbies Whisky Merchants of Ayr is supporting the festival as the official retailer.
Attendees must be 18 or over and bring photo ID if requested.
