Family funfair set to return to Ayrshire town for 10 days

A FAMILY funfair is set to return to Cumnock for 10 days of rides and attractions.

The travelling funfair will be held at Cumnock Juniors' ground on Townhead Street from Thursday, July 9 until Sunday, July 19.

Organisers are promising entertainment for all ages, with a range of rides and attractions on offer throughout the event.

Entry to the funfair will be free, with the attractions opening daily from 6pm.

Weekend opening times will begin from 2pm, while the final day on Sunday, July 19 will run from 2pm until 4pm.

Visitors are being encouraged to look out for special offers, with £5 discount vouchers available from participating local shops.

The vouchers exclude rides costing £2.

Organisers said the event will operate in a safe environment with CCTV and stewards on site, while no alcohol will be permitted.
