YOU can learn how to save a life by attending a defibrillator and CPR training night in New Cumnock next month.
The vital training is being hosted by New Cumnock Community Fire Station.
It will take place at the Castle Mains Avenue station on Tuesday, July 21 and is free to attend.
The session aims to give people confidence with these vital lifesaving skills and explain how swift action can help save someone suffering from a cardiac arrest.
Everyone in the community is welcome to attend, with firefighters on hand to offer practical guidance and answer questions in an informal setting.
It follows a successful event held at the station last year by crew member Tom Steven, after his own experience of almost dying.
