CUMNOCK Angling Club's new committee says it will adopt a "community-focused" approach when bringing a neglected site back to life for the public.
The club manages fishing on the Borland Reservoirs and the river courses of the Lugar and Glaisnock.
Following issues with previous organisers, a new committee was formed in May to restore the club and secure its future for the benefit of the local community.
And since then, weeks of hard work have gone into transforming the site ahead of an open day, with a date yet to be decided.
A series of clean-up days has been held, and an online fundraiser has been launched to help with the purchase of equipment.
The new committee said: "Cumnock Angling Club is proud to announce its re-establishment as a community-focused angling club dedicated to promoting fishing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.
"With a proud history spanning 117 years, the club manages fishing on the Borland Reservoirs and the river courses of the Lugar and Glaisnock.
"The newly established club is led by a dedicated team of 12 committee members, supported by a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.
"Since taking office, the committee has worked tirelessly to improve the facilities and restore the club from the rundown condition it inherited.
"With limited resources, these improvements have been made possible through the commitment of volunteers and the generosity of donations from supporters.
"The shared vision is to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and well-managed angling club that encourages participation in fishing across all age groups."

Tickets for the season can be purchased and will run until March 14, 2027.
They cost £20 for adults, £10 for juveniles and £15 for those 65 and over, and can be purchased from the Borland Reservoir and Donsport.
And the club aims to promote both fly fishing and bait fishing, offering opportunities for experienced anglers and newcomers alike.
The committee added: "The club is committed to encouraging responsible angling, developing local interest in the sport, and creating a positive environment where members can enjoy fishing and appreciate the natural surroundings.
"The committee is excited about the future of the club and looks forward to building a strong and sustainable angling community."
