THERE was enjoyment for everyone in Cumnock over the weekend as a joint football festival and fun day took place.
The annual Barony Football Festival was back on Saturday and Sunday, with teams from right across the country competing for the top prizes.
The tournament was first organised by Cumnock Juniors, but is now put together by a dedicated team of volunteers headed up by local coach, Scott Black.
And this year's bumper event also included a range of attractions for all ages, including numerous bouncy castles, and a fun beat the goalie competition.beat-the-goalie
There was also hot food, an ice cream van, and a variety of stalls to browse throughout the day.
The event was also supporting charity partners Ayrshire East Foodbank and The Night Before Christmas Campaign, with donations going toward the crucial work they do.
Organisers said: "We want to say a massive thank you to all the players, coaches, parents, and supporters for making today such a great success and for sticking with us through the heat and sunshine.
"There was some brilliant football on display throughout the day.
"A special shout-out also goes to the winners of our individual awards, which were selected by the referees based on their performances throughout the tournament.
"Thank you again to everyone who attended and helped make the day such a fantastic occasion.
"We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did."
