TIME is running out for locals to have their say on plans for upgrades to the Doon Campus, with a drop-in session taking place this week.

Plans will aim to redevelop part of the leisure and educational facility in Dalmellington, which was preferred over a full rebuild due to potential related costs.

The £33 million project will provide upgrades to the school and leisure facilities, with work initially focusing on leisure centre improvements.

After a drop-in session was held last month, the clock is ticking for feedback on proposals.

The second public session will be held this Thursday, June 4 at Doon Academy from 4-7pm.

Anyone not able to attend the event can submit feedback by emailing eacschools@east-ayrshire.gov.uk by Monday, June 8.
