THOUSANDS of people enjoyed the fun as the historic Mauchline Holy Fair returned to the town at the weekend.
A record number of stalls were in place for Saturday's event, alongside entertainment for all ages.
The fair kicked off with the annual parade, depicting famous faces including Robert Burns and his wife, Jean Armour, who lived in the town for a period of time.
Mauchline Holy Fair's history dates back far enough that it's believed Burns attended a version of the event back in the 1700s.
And the fair made sure to stick to its route, with plenty of celebrations of the Burns links, along with help from local school kids, bands and groups.
The fun was split between Loudoun Street car park, Cowgate, Castle Street and throughout the town.
Favourites like the funfair were back, with over 100 market stalls selling and offering all kinds of goods.
There were also the likes of a model railway, street performers, live magic, art competition, vintage vehicles and so much more.
Music on the main stage included Voyage – The ABBA Tribute, The Divas Soul Band, and The Peas.
Dancers from Sophie Oliver School of Highland Dancing, DCB Dance Co, and Borland Ceilidh Band also kept the spirit of the fair alive all afternoon.
