FAMILIES are being invited to enjoy a free day out at Hannnahston Community Woodland’s Nature Day next weekend.
Taking place on Saturday, May 16 and running from 11am to 3pm, the event in Drongan promises a mix of wildlife activities, hands-on crafts and outdoor fun suitable for all ages.
Visitors can look forward to displays from Owl Magic, RSPB bird watching sessions, games on the grass and the chance to meet the Hannahston alpacas.
There will also be willow weaving, bug hunting and first aid demonstrations from St Andrews First Aid, along with a range of other nature-themed stalls and activities.
Public toilets will be available on site, and dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on leads.
An overspill car park will operate at the cemetery, and there will be tea, coffee and hot food on sale for cash only.
