A MAN has been arrested and charged after a drug cultivation was found at a vacant building in Auchinleck this week.
Police attended the former Nightingale House building on Main Street yesterday morning (September 23).
Footage on social showed police attempting to gain access to the building through the front entrance, before an individual can be seen exiting the building from a side entrance and fleeing up Auchinleck's Main Street.

Police Scotland confirmed to the Chronicle that a cannabis farm was found within the building.
A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident, and was due to appear in court today (September 24).
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.05am on Monday, September 23, 2024, officers attended a premises in the Main Street area of Auchinleck.
“A cannabis cultivation was discovered within.
“A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is expected to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Tuesday, September 24.
“A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
