Police in East Ayrshire have seized cash and drugs following a week of action focussing on drug dealing and drug misuse.
A total of 35 officers were involved where the Priority Policing Team, Proactive Crime Team, Wellbeing Unit and Locality Police officers worked together to execute 10 warrants.
A quantity of cash was found, Class A, B and C drugs were seized and a number of people were charged with offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Inspector Iain Farmer said “Our teams work tirelessly to disrupt the blight of drug dealing and drug misuse which causes misery within our communities.
"Last week was just another week which highlights the positive work, typically carried out on the back of information that the public provide us.
"We continue to work on intelligence provided by local community and I highlight that it's not okay to allow this to take place in our community.
"Our wellbeing unit were also involved in our week of action where they work closely with partners to provide those caught up in the misuse of drugs, linear routes to seek help to tackle addictions.
"My ask is that the public continue to provide police with information and make our communities a safer place.”
