Bridge maintenance work near Sanquhar that was due to begin on Monday has been postponed.
Roads maintenance company, Amey has planned to carry out the work at Mennock.
The work was due to take place between Monday, September 9 and Saturday, September 14 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.

It was due to be undertaken with a combination of overnight convoy working and temporary traffic lights.
However, Amey has recently announced that the work has been postponed, due to operational issues.
New dates for the work will be announced in due course.
