The owners of a popular eating place in Mauchline have announced its closure.
The Wee Chippy, on Earl Grey Street, has been a favourite in the town for a decade.
Having previously been operated as a luxury florist, the takeaway opened back in 2014 and fast became a favourite with locals.
Announcing the sad news of the shop's closures, the owner added that the business is now up for sale.
The owner said: "As you will all be aware I have closed my shop.

"I want to thank all of my customers over the last 10 years - many who have been regulars throughout that entire time trading.
"I’m already missing chatting with you all, so hell mend you when you bump into me on the street!
"I’m currently selling my business on, so looking to find the person/s that will take it forward and make it better than I ever could."
Anyone interested in taking over the business can contact 07521 976900.
The closure of the Wee Chippy in Mauchline comes little more than a month after the takeaway of the same name in Sanquhar announced that it, too, was closing down.
