A man has been arrested following reports of "concern for a person" near Auchinleck at the weekend, police say.
A section of the A76 close to Auchinleck's Templeton roundabout had been closed for a short period on Sunday, July 7, while police dealt with the calls.
It's believed the call related to an incident close to a farm road bridge on that section of road.
Police were called to the scene just before 3pm, and a 58-year-old man was arrested.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.40pm on Sunday, July 7, 2024 we were called to a report of concern for a person near the A76, Auchinleck.
"A 58-year-old man was arrested and issued with a recorded police warning."
