A successful coffee morning was held at Cumnock hospital recently to encourage the public to chat about what matters to them regarding their health.
Held at the East Ayrshire Community Hospital on Ayr Road, the event was devised by East Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.
The event, which coincided with What Matters To You day, invited the local community to share what matters most to them in health and social care and to take part in the local Strategic Plan consultation, which will soon undergo review.
'What Matters To You' is a Government-led initiative, looking to promote careful, kind human interactions regarding people's health.
People at the Cumnock hospital were able to share their views, have a blether, a hot drink and cake.
An EAHSCP spokesperson said: "It was lovely to see so many people stopping by for a blether and to find out more about the partnership and some of our partner organisations.
"Thanks for coming along!"
