The wee ones at New Cumnock Primary School got some real treats during their World of Work Week project.
The P1 and P1/2 pupils enjoyed a trip to the Pathhead Bakery on June 12 as part of their study into local food and drink manufacture.
And judging by these photos from the school, it looks as though they had a fantastic time.
A New Cumnock Primary spokesperson said on their X (formerly Twitter) site: "Our P1 and P1/2 classes enjoyed visiting our local Pathhead Bakery as part of their World of Work Week project, where they are exploring local food and drink manufacture.
"They had a wonderful time seeing how the products were made and got to have a go themselves!"
We hope everyone enjoyed their bakery visit.
