A LOVING couple from Cumnock has recently celebrated an incredible wedding anniversary.
George and Catherine Strachan were married back in 1959, and this month reached the remarkable milestone 65 years of marriage.
To celebrate their Blue Sapphire anniversary, George and Catherine were visited by Provost Jim Todd and Councillor Jim McMahon to pass on their congratulations.

They also presented the couple with a bouquet of flowers on behalf of East Ayrshire Council.
Deputy Lieutenant Eric Ross also visited the couple to present them with a telegram from the King and the Queen Consort.
