Plans are progressing to install speed-calming measures along a residential area in Cumnock.
A public consultation has been launched focusing on plans for eight speed bumps to be installed along a selection of roads in the Holmhead area.
Two speed bumps on Hospital Road, three on Bute Road, and one each on Templand Drive, Stepend Road and Eric Ross Way could be installed.

East Ayrshire Council issued a notice of intention to install the speed restrictions.
Currently, there are a number of speed bumps situated along Holmhead Road, with the extra measures expected to go ahead.
Those wishing to have their say on proposals must do so by Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
