A road in New Cumnock is set to close for 22 days from this weekend.
The Ayrshire Roads Alliance, which carries out work on behalf of East Ayrshire Council, will close Mansfield Road for carriageway resurfacing to take place.
Various sections from Mansfield Court to A76 at Marchburn will be closed on occasions. It is a distance of 5.4km.

The closure is set to come into effect from Saturday, March 2 from 8am.
A full closure will be in place from 8am to 6pm each day from March 2 until Sunday, March 24.
Mansfield Road should be open out-with these times through the duration of the works.
An alternative route will be signed via C47, A76 and vice versa.
There is a low rail bridge present on the C47 Mansfield Road. High Sided Vehicles over 12ft will be unable to use this section of the diversion route and should make alternative arrangements.
