A campaign targeting littering in East Ayrshire has been launched by police and the council.
Officers and council staff are aiming to showcase the effects that littering can have on the environment and communities.
Extra patrols were carried out in Cumnock and Kilmarnock where two offences were spotted and fines handed out.
A council spokesperson said: "A campaign aimed at targeting littering behaviour as well as highlighting the after effects on the local environment and community was launched.
"Officers from Ayrshire police assisted with patrols in Cumnock and Kilmarnock where two offences were detected. Please #BinYourLitter."
