Pupils and staff from The Robert Burns Academy have recently returned from a fun-filled ski trip in Italy.
A party of 23 pupils, along with staff members Mr Robertson, Mr Kerr and Mrs Hammersley arrived back in Cumnock at the weekend after the seven-day skiing trip to Pila, Aosta in the Italian Alps.
It's the second time an RBA group has headed to the Alpine slopes to enjoy the best winter sports the area has to offer.
They enjoyed sunshine and near perfect skiing conditions with well-groomed slopes for the whole of their stay.
The party was divided into three skiing groups including beginner, intermediate and advanced. By the end of the week the beginners were all making great progress.
All enjoyed the views of Mount Blanc and The Matterhorn as they progressed up the mountain.
In the evening the pupils took part in a variety of activities such as pool, ten-pin bowling, exploring the town of Aosta and a pizza night.
All 23 pupils and staff came home exhausted with new friends and unforgettable memories.
A school representative said that the pupils showed excellent behaviour and were a credit to their families and the school.
