Drive though safety checks are taking place across Ayrshire over the next week in a bid to keep youngsters safe.
Ayrshire Roads Alliance's Road Safety Team, which deals with road issues in East and South Ayrshire, would love to check the safety of your child’s car seat at drive through locations across Ayrshire.
By law, children must be in an appropriate child car seat until they are 12 years of age or over 135cm tall.
The team can check that your car seat meets the legal requirements and give you any advice you need, and your children can have a look around the fire engines while they're there.
The checks will take place at:
- Kilwinning Fire Station: Friday, February 9, 11am-3pm
- Ayr Fire Station: Monday, February 12, 11am-3pm
- Kilmarnock Fire Station: Tuesday, February 13, 11am-3pm
