A backroad near Mauchline is set to be closed off for three days next week to allow Virgin Media work to take place.
The Ayrshire Roads Alliance (ARA), which carries out work on behalf of East Ayrshire Council, will close off Hillhead Road from its junction with Kilmarnock Road, to its junction with the B743 on the other side of the town.
The road is due to be closed off from 7am on February 13 until 6pm on February 16.

A closure is expected to be in place between 7am and 6pm each day, with the road being open out with these times.
ARA says the days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.
An alternative will be in place via A76, Kilmarnock Road(A76), High Street(B743), Sorn Road, U739 and vice versa.
