A road near Cumnock is due to be closed off for five days, beginning this weekend. at the start of the week.
Sediment and debris removal from Netherton Bridge will be carried out, with road closures and diversions in place.

The road is due to be closed for around 20m at Netherton Bridge between 8am and 5pm each day, starting on Monday, February 5 and lasting until Friday, February 9.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
A diversion route is in place via U743, B7046, A70, A76, C36, U743 and vice versa.
