Volunteers from Catrine got together at the weekend to tackle the litter issue in the village, collecting more than 70 bags of discarded rubbish.
As part of ongoing work by Catrine Community Action Plan Group, the team were out in force on Saturday.
Dozens of bags of rubbish were collected during the first community litter pick of the year, along with old furniture and other household items.
The group's members are already planning for their next litter pick next month.
A Catrine Community Action Plan Group spokesperson said: "Following our Keep Scotland Beautiful Neighbourhood Award 2023, we had our first litter pick of the year.
"It was great to see many new faces join in, and we lost count after 70 bags.
"Also special thanks to the man with the van and trailer Jack, who helped bring everything to our collection point, including that couch that was dumped."
The group's next community litter pick will be held on Saturday, February 3.
