Santa received a special escort around Sanquhar recently as money was raised for charity.
On Christmas Eve Santa gave his reindeer a rest and enlisted the help of the village's retained firefighters as he travelled around the streets.
Loads of locals came out to give Santa a wave as they got into the Christmas spirit.
It was all in aid of a great cause, as money was collected and raised for The Fire Fighters Charity.
The charity supports the mental, physical and social needs of the UK's fire services community, treating each person who comes to us as an individual, working to find an approach that best suits them.
A wonderful total of £685 was raised for the charity on the night.
