Cumnock Chronicle: Muirkirk

Dylan Samson was the Grand Old Duke of York in the Muirkirk Primary 2008 Christmas production. Dylan was pictured with his men (and women) - Jack Smith, Jay Campbell, Robbie McCraken, John McIlwain, Rachel Park and Emma Lockwood. There weren't quite enough pupils to manage the ten thousand from the nursery rhyme though!

Cumnock Chronicle: Baby

A Drongan couple got the best Christmas present ever in 2008- a beautiful bouncing baby. Adele Naylor and Scott Kennedy were overjoyed with the arrival of little Toby on Christmas Day. The newborn arrived at 8.17am, weighing 7lb 15oz.

Cumnock Chronicle: Netherthird

Netherthird Primary pupils got the chance to turn the tables on the staff at Christmas 2008. The annual Pupils Christmas Lunch saw staff dressed up for the occasion, and they became the pupils’ servants for the day.

Santa and his elves provided a festive treat for kids when they visited Cumnock Trinity Church Sunday School Christmas Party 2008, with some help from Cumnock and District Round Table.

Cumnock Chronicle: Auchinleck Primary's 2008 Christmas show

Auchinleck Primary’s infant class put on a marvellous Christmas show called “It’s a Party” in 2008.

Cumnock Chronicle: Dalmellington

The Dalmellington Band performed at Asda in Ayr the Saturday before Christmas 2008 and also did some bag packing as well as carol playing.
