A New Cumnock-based company has recently installed a new defibrillator machine - and it's now ready for public use.

Foundation Solutions HV (FSHV) Ltd has installed the machine on the fence surrounding their main offices in Connell Park, New Cumnock.

The defib is registered with the national defibrillator network and it is also connected to the Scottish Ambulance Service.

A FSHV spokesperson said: "Sudden cardiac arrest is a time-critical emergency, and the availability of a defibrillator can significantly reduce the time it takes to initiate life-saving measures.

"Therefore, FSHV have installed an external defibrillator to further enhance the safety and well-being of everyone within our premises as well as the local community.

"Our external defibrillator has been installed on the fence surrounding our main offices in Connell Park and is registered with the national defibrillator network and connected to the Scottish Ambulance Service.

"FSHV would like to raise awareness of the location of the defib to increase life-saving measures within the local community."

The company, founded in 2015, provides civil engineering solutions to companies in the energy and power transmission sector.
