A bridge near Cumnock is set to be closed for two weeks while work is carried out.
The Ayrshire Roads Alliance, who carry out work on behalf of East Ayrshire Council, will be working on the Burnock Bridge on Skares Road.
A 20m road closure will be in place from 8am on Monday, January 15.
Bridge parapet repair work will be taking place, with the closure set to remain in place until 5pm on Monday, January 29.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected.
An alternative route will be signed via B7046 - U728 - A70 - B7046 and vice versa.
