A loving Drongan couple recently celebrated a very special wedding anniversary.
May and John McKelvie from the village tied the knot 65 years ago.
To celebrate their Blue Sapphire wedding anniversary, May and John were visited by East Ayrshire's depute provost, Claire Leitch, and local councillor Elaine Stewart, who passed on their congratulations.
The special visitors also gave the couple a gift of a bouquet of flowers on behalf of East Ayrshire Council.
Deputy Lieutenant Nancy Mortimer also presented them with a telegram from the King and the Queen Consort.
