A NEW Cumnock woman has been banned from the roads following a drug driving incident.
Aline Ilascu, 35, pleaded guilty to one charge in relation to the offence when she appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
Ilascu, of the town's Mansefield Road, was appearing following the incident which took place on the A76 road in Kilmarnock back on October 17 last year.
Here, she was found to be behind the wheel with Benzoylecgonine - the primary metabolite of cocaine - within her system.
The proportion of this in her blood was found to be 120 microgrammes per litre blood when the legal limit is 50mg per litre.
Following her admission, Ilascu was ordered to pay a fine of £470.
In addition to this, she was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for a period of 12 months.
