An East Ayrshire wedding venue has picked up a national award.

Oceanic Events gathered the very best the UK wedding industry has to offer for the first ever Nation’s Wedding Awards 2023.

The Nation’s Wedding Awards 2023 are an exclusive celebration of the wedding professional’s that have gone above and beyond and made a real difference in the industry with their excellent services.

The glamorous ceremony took place on November 1 at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel and was hosted by DJ, Comedian and Presenter Tommy Sandhu.

It was an elegant event that acknowledged and honoured the talented individuals, teams and businesses, whose sole aim is to provide their couples with the most magical memories and a wedding day to remember.

Top celebrants, hairstylists, venues and photographers amongst others gathered together to celebrate their achievements and their efforts that put in daily to leave their customers with the best of impressions.

And East Ayrshire's Sorn Castle picked up the award for Romantic Wedding Venue of the Year.

A Facebook statement said: "Never ones to toot our own horn but …… we’ve only gone and won the Nations Romantic Wedding Venue of the Year!

"Fantastic seeing everyone in Manchester tonight!! Now where’s the champers! Thank you to all who voted!"

A spokesperson for The 1st Nation’s Wedding Awards 2023, said: “It was another outstanding event.
