The spooky season is set to peak tomorrow, October 31, with the arrival of Hallowe'en.

East Ayrshire's streets will be busy with children and families enjoying the traditional Trick or Treat experience, and it appears there will be no need for an umbrella, if the weather forecast is anything to go by.

The Met Office has confirmed that there is just a ten per cent chance of rain all day and night tomorrow.

Cumnock Chronicle:

A Met Office statement said: "A mainly dry day, some good sunny spells in Glasgow and the north but cloudier over southern Ayrshire, Kintyre and South Lanarkshire the cloud edging north later. Maximum temperature 10 °C."

However, there will be wind gusts of up to 30mph, and the temperature is set to feel as low as three degrees Celsius.

So the area's Trick or Treaters would be wise to wrap up warm for the night's festivities.
